Privacy Policy
StayGuide helps accommodation hosts manage apartments, reservations, guest guides and operational tasks. We process only information needed to provide, secure and improve those functions.
Information processed
- Host account details such as email address, profile and app settings.
- Apartment, reservation and guest-guide information entered by the host, including guest names and access instructions.
- Team-member names, roles, task assignments, notes and checklist progress.
- Technical security data such as device push tokens, login identifiers, synchronization timestamps and basic error information.
Purposes and legal basis
We process account and service data to perform the StayGuide service agreement, protect accounts, synchronize data, deliver requested reminders and support users. Where consent is required, it may be withdrawn. Hosts are responsible for having a lawful basis for guest and team data they enter.
Storage and sharing
StayGuide uses Google Firebase services for authentication, database storage, media storage, hosting, server functions and push notifications. Data is not sold. It is shared only with service providers needed to operate StayGuide, when the user directs us, or when legally required.
Retention and rights
Data is retained while an account is active and for a limited period needed for backups, security and legal obligations. Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, export, restriction or deletion by contacting the address above.
Terms of Service & Service Agreement
By creating or using a StayGuide account, the host agrees to these terms and the Privacy Policy. StayGuide provides software for organizing rental operations; it is not a booking platform, property manager, emergency service or party to agreements between hosts, guests and team members.
Host responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and protect account, guest and team access credentials.
- Use guest and team data lawfully and give required notices.
- Verify reservation, calendar, task, pricing and access information before relying on it.
- Maintain backups of business-critical information and comply with accommodation, tax, safety and consumer laws.
Plans and availability
Prices, trial terms and plan limits are those shown at purchase. Unless mandatory law says otherwise, fees are due in advance. The service may change as features are improved. We work to keep StayGuide available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Liability and termination
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StayGuide is not liable for indirect loss, missed bookings, guest disputes or decisions made from unverified data. Either party may end the agreement; the host may request account deletion as described below. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights are not limited.
Data Processing Agreement
This DPA forms part of the service agreement where a host uses StayGuide to process personal data for which the host is controller. The host is the controller and Aleksandar Petreski, operating StayGuide, is the processor.
Processing details
- Subject and duration
- rental-operation data processed while the account is active and during limited deletion/backup periods.
- Purpose
- hosting, synchronization, guest-guide access, task management, reminders, support and security.
- Data subjects
- hosts, guests, team members and service contacts.
- Data
- identity/contact data, reservation details, access instructions, task records, notes, media and technical identifiers.
Processor commitments
- Process data only on documented host instructions and applicable law.
- Use appropriate confidentiality, access-control, encryption and security measures.
- Assist with data-subject requests, security incidents, deletion and reasonable compliance information.
- Notify the host without undue delay after becoming aware of a relevant personal-data breach.
- Delete or return personal data at the end of service, subject to legal obligations and backup cycles.
Subprocessors and transfers
Google/Firebase is authorized as a subprocessor for cloud infrastructure. StayGuide will require materially equivalent data-protection obligations from subprocessors. International transfers must use a lawful transfer mechanism where required. A host may object to a new material subprocessor on reasonable data-protection grounds by contacting support.
Host obligations
The host determines lawful instructions, provides required notices, answers data-subject requests and avoids entering unnecessary sensitive data. Audit requests must be reasonable, protect other users and first use available documentation.
Account & Data Deletion
You can start a deletion request from Menu → Account → Delete account, or use the external request option below. Send the request from the email used for your StayGuide account so ownership can be verified.
After identity verification, the active account, workspace data and access indexes will be deleted or anonymized. Limited security, billing or backup records may remain only for the period required by law, fraud prevention or normal backup rotation. Deleting an account cannot be undone.
